Training

School Technology Management provides training to its customers when the CAASS system is initially purchased. Through turnover, school reorganization, or just simply forgetting, customers require retraining to be able to optimally operate the CAASS system. Customers that currently posses a Support and Maintenance contract with us receive a two hour refresher course each year. A refresher course is a question and answer session and some explanation of new features.

CAASS training is broken up into two phases:

Phase 1- Photo ID Module Training

Photo ID training will consist of learning how to create photo id’s, take pictures, transfer pictures, and the printing of the ID cards. Photo ID training should run approximately 2 hours. The training session will consist of hands-on learning along with step-by-step instruction.

Areas Covered

  • Taking photos
  • Transferring photos into CAASS
  • Customize ID card templates
  • Dual-Sided printing
  • Performing maintenance on the CAASS ID printer

Phase 2- CAASS Admin & ScanStation Training

Phase 2 will require the presence of the CAASS administrator and at least one ScanStation operator, who once trained will have the ability to train the remainder of the ScanStation operators.
