The CAASS ScanStation enables schools to capture attendance at the building entry way prior to the students getting into the classroom. Each
student’s name and picture appears on the screen as the card is swiped. CAASS screens each ID card to determine
if the card is active as well as if the student is suspended, even if it is the student’s birthday. Each event
triggers a school specified message on screen as well a school specified audible alarm.
